I've spent a large part of my life helping people. I was very active in the Boy Scouts and even kept active through a U.S. Air Force sponsored troop when I was 13 and lived in Madrid, Spain. I spent a month at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and I am an Eagle Scout. I was also a Boy Scout summer camp counselor in South Dakota. "Be Prepared" is till the Boy Scout's motto! I am also a Veteran. I was an Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard for 3 1/2 years. I served in a Search & Rescue Center, developing search plans and locating lost boaters. The U.S. Coast Guard's motto is 'Semper Paratus' or 'Always Prepared.' Today I am a 44+ year State Farm Agent, prepared to help people when things don't go right. There's a pattern here and I'm proud of it !!

Our office is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and selected Fridays for unscheduled drop ins. We work remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when no-one is in the office building itself. You can always reach us every weekday by e-mail or by phone. We answer from 8 to 5 every day and do not shut down for lunch.

When my Dad immigrated as a small boy, from Spain to Arizona in 1912, he traveled on the Carpathia...the ship that 7 months earlier had rescued the survivors from the Titanic. I grew up in Evanston, Illinois, where my Dad was a professor at Northwestern University. I am a University of Illinois graduate and received my MBA at Inter-American University through a co-op program with Rutgers University. My top two Team Members and I represent over 100 years of combined insurance experience and I have been recognized multiple times for being among the top 50 agents in State Farm (out of 19,000 agents.) I am also a Past-President of the Canadian Club here. My wife was born in Canada and I exhibited at the Great Canadian Pic-Nic here for many years. (Unfortunately, the Pic-Nic is no longer held.) My Team and I pride ourselves in understanding the special needs of Canadian visitors and investors and we serve over 500 Canadian insurance customers.
